When God Seems Silent – He’s Still Working Behind the Scenes
Share
Lately, it feels like so many of us are walking through quiet seasons—
the kind where prayers echo back and answers seem delayed.
You wonder if God still hears you,
if He still sees the tears you hide,
the weight you carry,
and the dreams you’ve quietly set down because they haven’t come true yet.
But the silence of God is not the absence of God.
Sometimes it’s the space where He’s building something in us
before He builds something for us.
In Scripture, there were long pauses between promise and fulfillment—
Joseph waited in prison,
Hannah waited through heartbreak,
and even Jesus waited three silent days between the cross and resurrection.
And in every story, the waiting wasn’t wasted.
If you’re in that quiet space now,
don’t mistake it for abandonment.
God is still writing, still working, still moving the unseen pieces.
You haven’t been forgotten—you’re being formed.
So take a deep breath today.
Trust that even in the silence,
He’s closer than you think.
And when the time is right,
the silence will break with purpose.
“The silence of God is not His absence—it’s His preparation.”
